Barb Amador is the founder, designer, and  creator, of handmade sterling silver pieces for Silver Cloud Designs in Lafayette, Colorado.

She has always been enamored with all kinds of jewelry even at a young age. Over the years work and family obligations that came before her dream of creating jewelry.  She made a few rudimentary pieces and gave them to family and friends. Then after retirement, she attended metalsmithing classes in Denver from beginning to advanced and technique class to optimize her design skills.

In 2010, she started Silver Cloud Designs as her business. She and her husband began attending vender shows and selling her work. She still enjoys creating but the heavy lifting to set up show venues is a thing of the past. Now she concentrates on her website and Particulars Gallery and Teaching Studio in Lafayette, Colorado.  She also accepts requests for custom designs with silver.
