Pietersite and Sterling Silver Cuff Bracelet

Pietersite was originally discovered in 1962 by Sid Pieters, a Namibia-based gemstone dealer and prospector.  This stone was mined there, cut and shaped in India, then arrived at my door through a distributor friend of mine. Pietersite is often referred to as "tempest stone" or "eagle's eye" due to its chaotic, swirling, chatoyant patterns which aptly describes the coloration of this stone.
It has been set in a minimalistic setting so as not to take away from the stone's beauty.
